Brand Evolution

Vermont Brewers Association brand evolution

The Vermont Brewers Association was founded in 1995 to promote and strengthen the culture of craft brewing in Vermont. A state with a rich brewing history and a vibrant crafts scene, Vermont is home to some of the world’s most sought after beers.

Running with initial styles and a new tagline set in place by Lewis Communications, Rumbletree created a new logo system that captures the craftsmanship and heritage of Vermont beer, while actively avoiding more stereotypical stylings of brewery associations and guilds. This style played out in a new iconography system used throughout the brand, including sub brands for the Association’s multiple high profile festivals.

The tagline ‘Beer Worth Finding’ reinforces that for craft beer fans, the experience is as much about journey and discovery as it is the beers themselves. Rumbletree created an all new website to promote this journey, including beer trails and an interactive brewery map, as well as an updated printed brewery ‘Passport’.
