New Hampshire State Parks
Identity
The New Hampshire Division of Parks & Recreation is comprised of 92 properties, including campgrounds, beaches, natural areas, waysides, historic sites and recreational trails. The division came to Rumbletree for help updating their current identity. Based on a thorough brand audit, Rumbletree made the recommendation to evolve the existing and established logo. By updating and simplifying and the mark, Rumbletree was able to transform the brand while staying true to its history. A flexible identity system grew out from there, including a custom Parks typeface created by
David Occhino. Later, a subsystem of logos to represent individual state parks were created. Under the overarching brand umbrella, many properties were given a unique mark used for merchandising the State Parks.
